About Me
My name is Abigail and I live in Devon. I first learned about Bowen from my sister when she decided to change career and become a Bowen therapist after discovering the benefits of technique for her own health.
I was very skeptical at first, as I was about all alternative therapies at the time. However, when my sister treated me I was hugely suprised by the changes I experienced. I had suffered with glue ear as a child and always had blocked sinuses, and was amazed that they completely cleared, and I have never had the issue the same since. I also tend to bottle my emotions, and was shocked that I had a huge and beneficial emotional release.
I considered training around 2016, but decided against it at the time. I then did the 'Introduction to Bowen - reboot your body' couse with The Bowen College in 2020. I used this skillset on friends and family, and found I enjoyed woking in this way and tuning in to the human body.
A couple of years down the line I realised I was definately ready for a change in my career, and was drawn back to Bowen.
In the future I hope to complete a canine course to expand my practice, especially since discovering my own dog enjoyed Bowen and would regularly ask for it.
